	Hektor loved working sheep and was an expert at controlling his flock

ABOUT HEKTOR

Lure Coursing

Hektor was the #11 Ridgeback in ASFA Lure Coursing in 1995, the #2 male Nationally and the #2 Ridgeback overall in Region 7.

Agility

Hektor was the #8 Agility Ridgeback in 1997

Hektor was shown occasionally in Conformation. He is shown here placing at a RRCUS National Specialty.

Obedience

Hektor earned his CD (Companion Dog, Obedience title) at the same time he was actively Lure Coursing.

Hektor won the award for Highest Scoring Field Champion in Obedience at the 1996 RRCUS National Specialty in Allentown, PA.

In 2004, Hektor came out of retirement and won High Scoring Ridgeback and High Scoring Sighthound at an all breed show with wonderful score of 188 out of 200.

That year, he finished in the RRCUS Top Twenty Obedience at 11 years old!

An All-Round Hound

Hektor achieved the incredible accomplishment of top rankings in all the major performance events for Rhodesian Ridgebacks: Lure Coursing, Agility & Obedience.
